On Friday, Aug. 1 at the 40 Watt Club, Sloan Brothers—the recording project of Sloan Simpson and friends—celebrated the official LP release of System Update with a listening party. Performers included Robert Schneider, Jay Gonzalez and Hayride, all of whom contributed parts on the album. You can read about Sloan Brothers here.
Next door at Flicker Theatre and Bar, Shadebeast Presents hosted Beast Mode, Corrupted Saint (FL) and Guillotine A.D., the last of which celebrated the release of its new album Born to Fall.
