This past week kicked off with Little Gold, Dustin Price Band and Jalen Reyes at World Famous on Tuesday, Apr. 12.

We also caught Convince the Kid at Flicker Theatre & Bar that night. Always in the mood for a little Duran Duran!

On Thursday, Apr. 14, Well Kept celebrated the release of The Inquirer. Joining the lineup was Secondhand Sound (Nashville) and Kid Fears (Atlanta).

That same night, members of Diablo Sandwich and the Dr. Peppers took the stage at Nowhere Bar as Solid Country Gold. Don’t let those tears fall into your beer!

Normaltown Sound Machine got the freakin’ weekend started on Friday, Apr. 15 at the Georgia Theatre Rooftop. NSM’s next show will be with The Shut-Ups at the 40 Watt Club on Saturday, May 21 in celebration of guitarist Ben Spraker’s birthday.

Annie Leeth performed at Flicker as part of Seth Martin’s debut screening of There Is a Place.

Over at Ciné, Shadebeast hosted a killer night of “tinnitus therapy” with Marses, Drifter (Atlanta) and Krypt (Augusta).

Southern Brewing Co. hosted the Jessica Fore Georgia Fundraiser on Saturday, Apr. 16. We caught Terraplane Blue before heading downtown for some G-Day aftermath.

You know, there’s really no need to gatekeep Black Sabbath. The people-watching during Classic City Jukebox‘s set was *chef’s kiss* at Boar’s Head.

Monsoon, Orange Doors (Charleston) and Goodhost closed out the week on Sunday, Apr. 17 at World Famous.
