Mansions on the Moon and FLT RSK Ticket Giveaway

On Friday, April 6, a mix of the dreamy, the rhythmic, the quirky and the psychedelic will color the walls of New Earth Music Hall. And we’re getting you in.

Mansions on the Moon and FLT RSK give up two different species of spacey, driving jams, but both take an angle on what you usually classify reggae jams and electronic dubs as. FLT RSK’s three-piece set up, with Matt Woolley on drums, Matt Mansfield on bass and JB Lawrence playing the synths, have more than just one continuous sound. Even recording sweet, soulful tracks to back up the angelic Lera Lynn, FLT RSK stretches its range from the quietly poignant to the outrageously upbeat dance dubs. Mansions on the Moon, or MoTM, lives up to its title with its members, Ted Wendler, Ben Hazlegrove, Lane Shaw, and Jeff Maccora singing harmonious melodies that move a little outside the practical, while having a tendency to become addicting.

If you want in for free, go Flagpole’s Facebook page, and make sure to post your favorite Mansions on the Moon song—and make sure to tag New Earth Music Hall and @FlagpoleMusic for details.

We’ll announce a total of five winners on Friday! Each will get a pair of tickets to the show at New Earth on Apr. 6. Good luck!
