Trampled by Turtles bridge the gap between folk tradition and the members’ alt-rock background, which is evident across the band’s eight full-lengths and bluegrass-inspired covers of Pixies and Radiohead tracks. The group’s foundational unplugged sound has become more symphonic since its start in 2004, while staying true to its roots-rock nature.
