Indie-rock legend and alt-country pioneer Neko Case is celebrating the release of Truck, Gladiator, Mule, a collection of her complete solo discography spanning more than 20 years. Case, also a member of The New Pornographers, has contributed to a lot of projects since she came onto the scene in 1994, but her solo career has been where she has truly shined, with each release improving upon the one before it. 2009’s Middle Cyclone marked a particular turn, taking Case from indie darling to household name. Though Case hasn’t put out any solo material in four years (not including an excellent collab with k.d. lang and Laura Veirs), she will perform a career retrospective at her Athens show, a must-see for any fan.
