Krakin Jokes, which started off as a small-scale, round-robin comedy exercise among friends and co-workers, has quickly blossomed into the largest pop-up comedy showcase in Athens, largely by word of mouth. The series has seen its audience grow by leaps and bounds over the course of six events; a stage and seating were crafted indoors, and a sound system was implemented before the event’s founders had to take things back outside to accommodate all the bodies. Sunday’s installment on Habersham Drive will be their seventh so far, and marks Krakin Jokes’ one-year anniversary. Check out the group’s Facebook page for lineup information and more details.
