Opening Reception for “The World All Around”

The new exhibition “The World All Around” includes artists’ work that examines our relationship to the environment, both natural and manufactured, and features large-scale photographic works by Michael Marshall, Jim Fiscus and Chris Bilheimer, paintings by Atlanta artist Meg Aubrey, drawn works by Alex Murawski and Atlanta artist Robert Walden, collage works by Atlanta artist Dayna Thacker and video by Adriane Colburn,  Justin Plakas and Michael Oliveri. There will be a cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres provided. Also on view in the hotel’s GlassCube is “Landscape for the Night,” a kinetic sculpture by Martijn van Wagtendonk, which is in motion from 6–11 p.m. every night. Opening at 6:30 p.m. FREE!
