The first Athens Pride Parade traveled the streets of downtown this past Sunday, ending in a BBQueer cookout celebration at Thomas Lay Park. What was expected to be a gathering of a few hundred people turned into over 3,000 attendees, many of whom marched through the street in line with the parade.
