The 2022 Hot Corner Celebration and Soul Food Festival returned to the corner of Hull and Washington streets this past Saturday. Named for the historic “Hot Corner” center of black commerce in Athens, the streets were truly hot this weekend as temps soared into the 90s.
Flagpole photographer Sarah Ann White was there to document the annual event, which featured music, food, vendors and more. See how the day unfolded below.
