Shades of President Obama’s “57 states” gaffe?
U.S. Rep. Paul Broun (R-Athens) recently bragged on his Senate campaign website that he had organized all 165 counties in Georgia. WSB-TV reporter Lori Geary captured a screen shot:
Georgia, of course, only has 159 counties. Geary joked that maybe we had finally retaken the part of Tennessee that’s rightfully ours.
Broun fixed the mistake, but not before Peach Pundit started a contest to name the six new counties.
