Flagpole Premieres: Double Ferrari, Double Ferrari Album Stream

If you have a second, Athens musician Jace Bartet would like to speak with you about the life-altering power of the electric guitar.

Or, rather, his guitar would like to speak with you? On the debut full-length from Bartet’s band Double Ferrari—a group that also features his Bit Brigade bandmates Luke Fields and Bryant Williamson, plus Family and Friends drummer Ryan Houchens—the former air-guitar champion spreads the good word with an ecstatic, high-flying brand of instrumental riff-rock designed to convert nonbelievers in the time it takes to travel from one end of the fretboard to the other.

The long-awaited, self-titled album, produced by Tim Green (Nation of Ulysses, The Fucking Champs) at his California studio, arrives next Friday via Ernest Jenning Record Co., but today we’re truly #blessed to share it in its entirety.

Stream Double Ferrari below, and pre-order the limited-edition mint-green vinyl on Bandcamp. And make sure to check next week’s Flagpole for a feature on the group, which celebrates the new album’s release with a show at the 40 Watt Club on Friday, Oct. 27.
