Ludacris Will Perform a 15-Minute Set Before the G-Day Game

After first saying there would be no musical performance at Saturday’s G-Day game, explaining that all the (country) acts they wanted to book were otherwise engaged, the UGA Athletic Department has announced that Georgia-based megastar Ludacris will perform just prior to Saturday’s inter-squad matchup.

The announcement came in the form of a Tweet and a 15-second hype video:

Ludacris is no stranger to Sanford Stadium, having joined Jason Aldean onstage as part of the country star’s performance in 2013.

Luda won’t be the only high-profile hip hop artist to perform on campus this spring: UGA’s University Union previously announced that Fetty Wap will perform at Stegeman Coliseum on Tuesday, Apr. 26. Tickets for that show are $10 for students and $20 for everyone else.
