Flagpole Premieres: Futo, ‘Green’ Video

Patrick Brick, the songwriter behind Athens-based one-man electro-pop project Futo, is prepping a new LP, Futo’s Greatest Hits. The follow-up to last year’s Flagpole fave I Wish I Had Been Born as the Rain That Forms Rivers That Carve Out Canyons will drop Apr. 20.

Today we’re happy to premiere the first single and video from the album, “Green,” which you can stream below. The clip was directed by Zak Washburn.

Says Brick about the new record:

It’s not terribly unlike my last release, mostly electronic, kinda sad sometimes, etc. It’s called Futo’s Greatest Hits as a jab at myself, in that I feel like this is probably as good as it’s gonna get from me, haha.
