Calendar Pick: Sorority House of the Dead

Though spooky season is over, Town & Gown Players is presenting the play Sorority House of the Dead. This production centers around the sisters of Delta Pi Sigma circa 1987 who have a terrible secret: All of the sisters are vampires. The three new girls rushing discover the secret, and what follows is a “fantabulous” journey of blood, gore and humor. The play was written by Mitch Brian as an homage to ‘80s horror with big hair and bright colors. Brian has written over two dozen scripts and previously worked for Warner Bros. Animation’s “Batman: The Animated Series.” The show will be running every weekend from Friday, Dec. 8 through Sunday, Dec. 17. Showings on Fridays and Saturdays will begin at 8 p.m., and a 2 p.m. matinee will be held on Sundays. Tickets are available for purchase at $20 with discounts for members, students and seniors. Visit townandgownplayers.org/tickets for more information and to purchase tickets.
