Ciné is hosting underground cult film studio Gonzoriffic for the 15th consecutive year of screenings at the art house theater. Since its founding, Gonzoriffic has earned a reputation for promoting progressive and empowering roles for women. The films display these themes through comedic violence, thrills and horror. This year’s program will be hosted by Dee Flowered, with a screening of past fan favorite short films she’s starred in. The event will also show the world premiere of “Zombikini,” which is a horror comedy directed by Kat Wood, and “Holey Foley,” a mockumentary directed by Ebony Delight, among other films. The event is unrated and recommended for audiences 18 and up. There will also be a YouTube live stream of the show on Gonzoriffic’s channel Nov. 19 at 9 p.m.
