Since Oct. 6, tiny ATH Gallery has had the work of Will Eskridge on display, showcasing Eskridge’s pop art acrylic paintings with a wild twist. Throughout this fun collection of works, Eskridge highlights the visual presence of various wild animals that have been portrayed throughout film as menacing. The artist’s decision to create depictions of these animals in more inviting environments has changed the animals from feral to friendly. As the exhibit’s time at the gallery comes to a close, the public will be able to experience this body of work up close and ask the artist all of their burning questions in person at the closing reception.
