Opening with a reception from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, “MFA: The Next Generation,” is the first of an annual collaboration between OCAF and UGA’s Lamar Dodd School of Art. Curated with the assistance of art history graduate students Erin Riggins, Taylor Glennon and Emily DuVall, the show includes works by second-year candidates Yona Bondar, Cristina Echezarreta, Laurel Fulton, Mary Gordon, Alec Kaus, Kim Truesdale and Rachel Watson. A separate reception, held 2:30–4:30 p.m. on Saturday, will celebrate the “2019 Georgia Watercolor Society Signature Exhibition” a showcase of works by artists from across the nation. Both exhibitions will remain on view at OCAF through Feb. 22.
