Peter Holsapple Combo, Pylon Reenactment Society

North Carolina musician Peter Holsapple has assembled quite the resume over the past four decades, as a founding member of lauded indie-pop band The dB’s and a hired gun for mega-acts like R.E.M. and Hootie & the Blowfish. In 2012, The dB’s released a new studio LP, Falling Off the Sky, and this July, Holsapple returned with Game Day, his first solo album in 21 years. He brings his Combo to Hendershot’s for a show that also serves as a single-release party for Pylon Reenactment Society, the erstwhile tribute act fronted by Pylon singer Vanessa Briscoe Hay, and featuring members of Casper & the Cookies and The Glands, that is now venturing into new-original-music territory.
