Celebrating 10 years of midnight premieres at Ciné, the underground film collective Gonzoriffic showcases the creativity of local actors, writers, musicians and visual artists through low- to no-budget shorts. Organized by Andrew Shearer, this year’s festival includes Goth Line Bling and You Gotta Nixon Body, directed by Coquette De Jour; Judy by Xtina; The Bloody Brides of Bad Girl Dracula, Vincent Price’s Skull and Wet T-Shirt Zombies by Shearer; and A Hostage for Christmas by a special guest, Ohio-based filmmaker Henrique Couto. As always, viewers can expect the best in spoopy plots and campy horror reminiscent of B-movie masterpieces.
