Thalia Zedek & Chris Brokaw, Lydia Brambila

Thalia Zedek and Chris Brokaw are longtime friends and collaborators who have performed together in the downer-blues-rock act Come and separately in influential indie bands Codeine, Live Skull, Uzi and The New Year. Each has also amassed a sizable solo catalog over the years. With the Thalia Zedek Band, Zedek released Fighting Season, a twangy and turbulent LP, last month. Brokaw’s 2015 album, The Periscope Twins, was an unexpected but rewarding journey into experimental noise. The pair hits Athens as part of a Living Room Tour, where most shows take the form of stripped-down sets inside people’s houses. Perhaps the friendly confines of Flicker will encourage the duo to plug in and get loud.
