A panel discussion and book signing in the Ciné lab moderated by Grace Bonney, publisher of the new magazine Good Company, which showcases creative women entrepreneurs, will address issues confronting women who start businesses. The panel includes Cheryl Day (baker), Yokoo Gibran (artist, fashion designer), Michele Norris (photographer), Neosha Gardner (founder of CreateHerStock) and Janet Geddis (Avid Bookshop owner). Topics include the most valuable lessons about starting a business, what some of the challenges are for small business owners, how they stay motivated or re-inspired when faced with a tough business situation and how the women use their platforms and voices (online and offline) to effect change in their community.
