Chicago-based comedic theater troupe Second City is known for blending sketches, songs and improvisation. Formed in 1959, Second City has become the world’s premier performance group of its kind, churning out many of the greats of comedy, such as Joan Rivers, Bill Murray, Mike Myers, Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Many company members have gone on to hold leading roles in television shows like “Saturday Night Live,” movies and theater productions across the world. This revue, Hooking Up With The Second City, makes light of missed connections, girls’ nights out and all the weird things people do in the name of love. Performances will be held on Monday at 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
