The Nutcracker

As one of the most widely performed ballets in the world, The Nutcracker’s story of a little girl named Clara, who travels to the Land of Sweets on an enchanted Christmas Eve, remains a holiday favorite. Performed by the State Ballet Theatre of Russia, a company of over 50 professional dancers, the production follows the same authentic choreography used by Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet. The score, which includes popular pieces like “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” and “Waltz of the Flowers” is one of Tchaikovsky’s most melodic. Performances will be held at 3 p.m.both days, with an additional show at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
