Athens is a city filled with music—but it’s also, of course, the home of the defending SEC champion Georgia Bulldogs football team, which heads to Jacksonville for its annual battle with Florida this Saturday.
While there are many Athenians who run in both circles, others tend to stick to what they know. In an attempt to see how aware each each group is of the other, Flagpole’s pop-quiz squad took a trip to the 40 Watt Club to talk to attendees at a recent Mothers show, and we also swung by Sanford Stadium to chat with tailgaters in advance of Georgia’s win against Tennessee.
