Girls Rock Athens Showcase

As a member of of the international Girls Rock Camp Alliance, the nonprofit Girls Rock Athens introduces girls ages 9–15 to the world of music through an immersive summer camp each year. Campers—many of whom have little to no prior musical experience—learn instruments, hear from volunteers about key aspects of the industry and organize themselves into bands, which debut their original material at a grand finale event. This year’s end-of-camp showcase takes place at the Caledonia Lounge, where a new generation will show off its chops. Donations are encouraged to help support GRA’s mission of informing and empowering young, female musicians.
