Athens-Clarke County will start accepting applications Tuesday from small businesses for loans and grants to help them through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Available funds include $1.6 million in grants through the federal CARES Act and $1 million in revolving loans from local tax dollars.
Businesses with 10 or fewer employees that are physically located within Clarke County are eligible. Click here for a full list of requirements or to apply starting at 8 a.m. Sept. 8. The application period ends Tuesday, Sept. 22.
The funding will be disbursed by a joint development authority formed by the ACC government and the City of Winterville. For more information, email [email protected].
