State Rep. Jonathan Wallace (D-Watkinsville).

Have a concern or question about state politics? Rep. Jonathan Wallace (D-Watkinsville) is ready to talk to you about it. And the best part is, you can have a beer while you meet with him, or alternatively, you don’t even have to put pants on.

Wallace—who represents parts of Clarke and Oconee counties—recently announced a schedule of summer “office hours” that don’t take place in an office.

On Wednesdays, he’ll be available to meet with constituents from 5–6 p.m. at The World Famous, a bar on Hull Street downtown. On Thursdays, he’ll be at the Jittery Joe’s in Watkinsville from 8–9 a.m.

Wallace will also host monthly online town hall meetings, taking questions on Twitter (@wallacefor119) starting at 8 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month (aka today) and on Facebook Live at 8 p.m. on the third Friday of the month.

The schedule runs through Labor Day. Wallace said a new schedule will be announced for the fall.

In addition, Wallace, whose day job is software development, will discuss election security at 8 a.m. Friday at Big City Bread.
