Athens Power Rankings for the Week of Apr. 11

Welcome to Athens Power Rankings. In the spirit of sports rating systems, through painstaking analysis, we rank the top movers and shakers in the Classic City each week. Who’s hot? Who’s not? Find out below.

1. Kirby Smart

IT’S (spring) FOOTBALL TIME. The annual G-Day game is Saturday, and UGA’s new coach will make his official debut on the sideline. Some kid named Jacob Eason will also be there.

2. Boybutante

The annual drag show and AIDS Athens benefit returns Saturday. See this week’s Flagpole cover story for more info.

3. Eric Bachmann

The Athens resident and former Crooked Fingers/Archers of Loaf frontman performs Wednesday at the 40 Watt in support of a fine new solo album. Check out our Q&A.

4. Classic City Rollergirls

The Rollergirls’ first home bout of the season is Saturday. Check this week’s issue for a preview.

5. Tituss Burgess
