Remember last year, when it really snowed?
It’s not snowing (yet), but the Clarke County School District has already decided to shut down Thursday.
Other local school closings include:
• The University of North Georgia, Prince Avenue Christian, Athens Christian, Monsignor Donovan and Athens Academy, for the whole day.
• Piedmont College and Athens Tech will open at noon.
• Oconee County will delay classes two hours.
UGA will make a decision by 6:30 a.m., per its inclement weather policy.
Athens is under a winter storm watch until 10 a.m., but at this point, most of the sleet and snow is likely to miss us, according to Athens, GA Weather.
