About two dozen people gathered at the Arch Sunday evening to lament a Florida jury’s failure to convict George Zimmerman for the shooting of Trayvon Martin. Holding signs reading “Repeal Stand Your Ground” and “The Criminal Justice System is Broken,” the demonstrators were met with enthusiasm from some and jeers from other passers-by. The rally was timed to coincide with marches in Atlanta, New York, and 65 other cities across the U.S.
