For Democrats: The Clarke County Democratic Committee will be watching results at Southern Brewing Co. It’s free, but a brewery tour that includes 36 ounces of beer samples is $12.
For Republicans: The Athens GOP is hosting its viewing party at Locos on Barnett Shoals Road.
For Hipster Townies: Athens for Everyone and Keep Georgia Schools Local (an anti-Amendment 1 group) will be at Cine at watch results roll in. Hi-Lo Lounge in Normaltown will be showing results, once again hosted by local drag celebrity Ming Vase. So will Go Bar (where you might get to see co-owner Tom Hedger rub it in when Hillary beats karaoke DJ Dr. Fred’s favored candidate, Trump). Benjamin Elliot Rice will emcee, and DJs Mahogany and Fog Juice will follow up with a victory dance party.
For People-Watchers: The Georgia Theatre will show election coverage on its big screen, too. Who knows, you might run into these guys:
For Underage Students: UGA will screen election coverage at the Tate Center theater.
