Friday, Aug. 12 was a busy night of bouncing around. We warmed up with Deep Roots on the patio of International Grill and Bar.
Downtown at Flicker Theatre & Bar, Shadebeast presented a crushingly loud and heavy night with MNRVA (Columbia, SC) and Daylo Mourning (Atlanta). Just the way we like it.
Next door at the 40 Watt Club, Hardwired (Tampa, FL) covered the best of Metallica.
We also caught Murder the Mood over at Nowhere Bar.
This past weekend, Volumes celebrated its fifth anniversary with the return of Scrapstock 3, a four-day fest held across four local breweries. On Saturday, Aug. 13, Hollowbody, Squalle, Tyl3r Davis, Shameless James, Tears for the Dying and Trvy & the Enemy performed at Southern Brewing Co.
