First up is Fishbug, Angel Barn, Kadillak and The Tin Can Collective (NY) at Red Line Athens on Tuesday, Mar. 8.

Can’t get enough of the Red Line! Back on Wednesday, Mar. 9 for a night of anti-folk and folk-punk with Brook Pridemore (NY), Dakota Floyd (Atlanta), Yankee Roses (Atlanta) and Newport Transplant (solo).

Started the weekend off right with New Orleans-style jazz band Dixieland Five at International Grill & Bar on Friday, Mar. 11.

The night’s not over! On to Southern Brewing Co. to catch Vansplainer and Velvet Willow (Atlanta) play Aubrey Entertainment’s RPM series. A highlight included Vansplainer’s sludged out cover of Peaches’ electro-pop anthem “F**k the Pain Away.”

Normaltown Sound Machine, Dim Watts and Los Cantares played at the 40 Watt Club on Saturday, Mar. 12. A tray of mischievous-looking cookies made their way around the club, which had pretty much the entire audience dancing on the astral plane for the rest of the night.

Popped into Flicker Theatre and Bar that same night to bounce around with Ancient Infant.

And even made it over to Boar’s Head to catch some tried-and-true covers by Avery Deakins Band.

On Sunday, Mar. 13, Japanese composer and guitarist Hiroya Tsukamoto shared a moving performance at No. 3 Railroad Street in Arnoldsville.

A nice, not-so-quiet Monday night on Mar. 14 with Great Wide Nothing and Nivevah’s Garden at Flicker Theatre and Bar.
