Flagpole Premieres: New Madrid, ‘Manners’ Live Video

Athens band New Madrid has spent much of the past year on the road in support of their debut LP, Sunswimmer. Part of that time is documented on Dawn Teeth Rattling, a live EP engineered by David Barbe and released on Record Store Day.

Today, we’ve got the premiere of the official video for “Manners,” a Sunswimmer standout that appears in live form on the RSD EP. The song and video, taken from a performance at San Francisco’s Milk Bar, show how New Madrid has evolved since its rootsy beginnings, shifting from plaintive folk outfit to psych-flecked rock and roll beast.

New Madrid plays the Georgia Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 3. Tickets are available here.
