Watch the Teaser Video for New Madrid’s Record Store Day Release

Since the release of last year’s Sunswimmer (Flagpole review), Athens rockers New Madrid have pounded the pavement with a seemingly nonstop slew of tour dates. Now, the group is offering up documentation of their time on the road in the form of a Record Store Day exclusive release.

Dawn Teeth Rattling, out on Normaltown Records and available on 180-gram vinyl at Wuxtry this Saturday, collects five live songs from various shows on New Madrid’s 2014 West Coast tour, as recorded by Athens music guru David Barbe.

New Madrid next plays locally on Friday, May 8, when they open for Diamond Rugs at the 40 Watt Club. Check out Wuxtry employees’ Record Store Day picks here.
