Tonight in Athens: Tall Tall Trees, Laser Background

When the kiddies are away, the heathens will play, and there are a couple fine opportunities to get your Spring Break party on in Athens tonight. (Spring Break!)

At The World Famous, Kishi Bashi associate Mike Savino returns with his Tall Tall Trees project. The psychedelic, banjo-based one-man band is touring to SXSW and back in support of last year’s soaring, symphonic The Seasonal EP, and is reportedly prepping a new full-length album.

And at the Caledonia Lounge, Philly’s Laser Background anchors a show that also features local art-pop oddballs co co ri co and synth-centric mind benders Half Acid. Check our Calendar Pick preview here.
