Vote For Your Favorite Athens-Music Beard

Flagpole‘s winter-themed issue, “Warm Your ATH Up,” hits stands next Wednesday, Jan. 21, when it will surely be a balmy 70 degrees outside and ruin everything we’ve worked weeks to create. But first, we need your help.

We’ve nominated six local musicians who boast some of our favorite beards in town, and we’re looking to you to pick your favorite of the bunch.

Left to right in the group shot above are Jim Wilson (The TaxiCab Verses), Fester HagoodSteve Hendriksen (French Exit), Tuna Fortuna (Family and Friends) and Luke Fields (Double Ferrari, Bit Brigade). Pasted hastily into the bottom-right corner is the sixth finalist, Matt Hudgins, who was presumably too busy grooming his beautiful face-mane to attend intern Joshua L. Jones’ photo shoot.

Help us pick the best beard in Athens music! Comment below with the name of your favorite beard-wearer. Voting is open until Friday at 11:30 a.m. May the best beard win.

UPDATE: Voting is closed, and the winner has been determined. Thanks to all who voted!
