Watch Members of Sad Dads Try To Eat 13 Raw Onions

Last month, we brought you news of a Kickstarter campaign from local band Sad Dads, which offered a slew of unorthodox rewards to those who donated, including, at the $25 level, the ability to force bassist Michael Jefts to eat an entire raw onion.

Not only did the band meet its $500 goal, it exceeded it by $100—and the final onion tally sat at 13.

Below, watch the video of Jefts attempting to tackle the onion challenge, with some help from his bandmates.

Spoiler alert: It does not go well. But, as frontman Thomas Bauer says in the clip, “I’m glad there’s no legal obligations with the rewards system of Kickstarter. As long as you give ’em something, you get the money.”
