Hear a New Song from Reptar

It seems like forever since we’ve heard new music from the local synth-pop miscreants in Reptar. A quick check reveals that Body Faucet, the group’s Vagrant debut (Flagpole review), came out a whole two years ago. That is, indeed, an eternity.

So it came as a pleasant surprise when member William Kennedy posted a link to the band’s SoundCloud page on his Facebook page with the following comment:

wowwwweeeeee reptar’s got some new musak yall fer de first time in a sec! the A-side of a soon to be released 7″ on Quality Faucet Records its gonna be super k00l listen now

You heard the man. Stream the dense, magnetic “Daily Season” below:

A post on the Quality Faucet page reveals that the two songs on the upcoming 7-inch will also appear on Reptar’s as-yet-untitled new full-length record.

Reptar is currently on tour with The Faint. The crew will also headline AthFest’s main stage Friday, June 20.
