Today’s Office Jam: Curren$y’s ‘New Jet City’ Mixtape


Today, just in time for Mardi Gras, y’all, New Orleans mainstay Curren$y released New Jet City, his latest in a seemingly endless string of mixtapes and collaborations (see the Alchemist collab Covert Coup for another semi-recent standout). As expected, the mixtape finds the rapper, ne Shante Scott Franklin, firing on all cylinders; it also finds him straight lounging, sounding even more laid-back than usual.

Marquee names like Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Trinidad James, Styles P and more show up to assist, but Curren$y remains the star throughout. Endure the rest of your work day a little easier by popping in the earbuds and streaming New Jet City below:
