GZA and Killer Mike to perform at Georgia Theatre Oct. 13

Dunno how this announcement slipped by me, but holy jeez, am I pumped for this one. On Saturday, October 13, Wu-Tang samurai GZA and Atlanta’s Dungeon Family legend Killer Mike will both perform at the Georgia Theatre. (Buy tickets here.) The former will perform his classic Liquid Swords in its entirety, while Mike is riding high on the wave he created with his excellent new comeback album R.A.P. Music.

Opening the show are Brooklyn indie-rockers Bear Hands and Wavves side project Sweet Valley. Strange pairings, to be sure, but an effin’-exciting bill all-around.
