As we bounce between the cooling of false fall in the South and the last sunny days of summer, it’s not too late to enjoy the last of the summertime vibes. Today, gospel hip-hop group The Brothers N Christ share the release of its music video “Summertime,” featuring TR Thompson, P.O. The Priceless One and Molly Tu Hott.
“Summertime means we all come together, have fun and just enjoy life and each other. And I hope that when people listen to the song they feel the love and wanna have some fun,” says Michael Stovall, who performs under the moniker King David as part of The Brothers N Christ with his brother Rashard Stovall (IAmGodsChild).
“There were changes that had to be made as far as venues, dates and things of that nature,” says Michael. “But the song overall came out a lot better than the original, so a big hand clap for that.”
He says that the song was something that he had already planned, just in a different format, but everything with the local collaborations came together easily and quickly. P.O. The Priceless One and Molly Tu Hott are artists that have been building a buzz over the past year with their music releases, events and creative projects. The result of these artists all coming together truly delivers the song’s sentiment of being stronger together and just simply having a good time.
