If you’re looking for news on business openings and closings, you could do worse than lurking on the Williamson Bros. Realty & Auction Co. website. First, it brought news of Gnats Landing shuttering, and now it clues us in that Creative Cookies Creamery, over on Epps Bridge Parkway, is about to be no longer. The store, which has been around for eight years and specialized in cookie decoration, is closing up after this Saturday, so you still have a chance to stop by and wish its owners well.
Skogies on Baxter, as promised, has added breakfast to its offerings, with fancy coffees (beans from Jittery Joe’s), homemade apple fritters, omelets, home fries, cheese grits, breakfast bowls and stratas, all priced at less than $6. Breakfast is served from 7 to 11 a.m. weekdays and 9 to 11 a.m. weekends.
