(Room S151) This year, the Lyndon House Arts Center invited Larry Ossei-Mensah, the Susanne Feld Hilberry Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, to be the guest juror of its upcoming 45th Juried Exhibition. The Ghanaian-American curator and cultural critic will present “The Rules of Engagement: How to Navigate the Art World in 2020 and Beyond,” a lecture intended to highlight ways artists, curators and other art professionals can better understand “the game” and take more agency in their careers. The Juried Exhibition, which received hundreds of submissions for Ossei-Mensah to evaluate last week, will be held Mar. 5–May 5.
