The newest spot where folks can experience local art, tiny ATH gallery, makes its grand debut with a reception for “Central Nervous Breakdown,” a solo exhibition by Will Lineberger Eskridge. The artist, who specializes in paintings of animals, takes an abstract expressionist approach to explore the evolution of self-awareness through this new body of work. The gallery, located at 174 Cleveland Ave. next to Southern Star Studio, intends to host a different artist each month for a one-day pop-up show. Artists are already scheduled well into next year, with shows by James Greer, Tex Crawford, Phil White, Jacob Wenzka, Travis Ward and Lisa Freeman to look forward to.
