Presented by the Athens Folk Music and Dance Society, the Sweetheart Duets Hoot is one of the Classic City’s most warm and cuddly annual traditions. Gear up for Valentine’s Day by grabbing your sweetie and shuffling down to The Foundry, where local musical couples will take turns playing songs in the key of love. This year’s performers include Lynda and David Fioritto of Random Acts, Tim and Lillie Potts of The Clay Babies, Steve Erwin and Patricia Caya, Gabby and Josh Daniels, Marissa Chilton and Clay Chastain and more. Stalwart Hoot vet Susan Staley, of The Hobohemians and The Solstice Sisters, will host the show and also perform alongside her husband, Jim Beall.
