Classic City Bash

The latest in a seemingly nonstop string of awesome local hip-hop showcases, this weekend’s Classic City Bash is the brainchild of local emcee Motorhead2x, whose own sound blends classic rap vibes with modern trap trimmings. Performers sharing Saturday’s Caledonia bill include Squalle and L.G., solo standouts and frequent collaborators who will reunite for a duo set; buzzworthy youngster Kxng Blanco; Valley Girl D, whose rap realness is quickly becoming known beyond Athens’ borders; familiar scene faces T-Roy 3Mill, Dictator and Solo 10K; plus Joe Peeples, Sko, ASG and others. DJ Highwalker will provide music for the evening, and L.G. does double duty as host.
