A much-anticipated event for the past 25 years, the Piedmont Gardeners Tour lets you into five real, local gardens, where you can stroll at leisure and pick up all kinds of ideas for your own plantings. Rain or shine, this year’s outing clusters three gardens in the Milledge Circle area (including Vince Dooley’s!) and two in the River Bottom area. Get your ticket, which is also your garden booklet and map, in advance for $15 at Always, Always Flowers; Appointments at Five; Avid Bookshop; Cofer’s; Frontier; Goodness Grows; the Botanical Garden Gift Shop; or Thomas Orchard, or pay $20 the day of the tour at any of the gardens.
