“Figure Settings” shares a collection of sculptures by local artist Jean Wilkins Westmacott, often recognized for her statue of Athena that was installed in front of the Classic Center prior to the 1996 Olympics. During her 16-year career at Brenau University, she served as gallery director as well as director of the arts management and sculpture programs, organizing a variety of exhibitions, developing educational programming and managing the school’s art collection. Now retired, she continues her studio work and commissions. The Circle Gallery is located inside of the UGA College of Environment and Design at the Jackson Street Building, and the exhibition is open through Feb. 22.
