“Twist of Light,” an exhibition of wire sculptures and jewelry designs, showcases local artist Noah Saunders’ unique ability to shape metal into dynamic forms full of depth and detail. His three-dimensional portraits bend delicate wire into lifelike faces whose expressions seem to change as they are viewed from different angles. Light plays an important role in Saunders’ art by casting shadows against the wall that deepen the dimensionality of his works. Saunders has been working as an artist for over 20 years, and this is his first solo show in Athens after a two-year period of traveling exhibitions. “Twist of Light” will remain on view at Aurum through January.
